Rule-based detection of classical chart patterns.
Advanced Pattern Engine scans for double tops and bottoms, head and shoulders, wedges, flags and triangles using explicit geometric rules, and draws the pattern, its neckline and measured-move projection.
Patterns are built from confirmed pivots. Each family has explicit tolerances (for example, the two peaks of a double top must be within x% of each other). Patterns are only marked confirmed after a close through the neckline.
Projections use the classical pattern height. They are reference distances, not price targets the market is obliged to reach.
The optional table counts how often confirmed patterns on the loaded chart history reached their projection before invalidation. These are descriptive statistics for that symbol and period only.
Indicators describe price data; they do not predict future prices or guarantee results. Test any tool against your own journal before relying on it.
